This restaurant is the type that we always look for. Small in size and outstanding food and service. The two duck dishes we had were very tasty. The owner was quite gracious. The restaurant is a short walk from the Fisherman's monument or you will pass by on the bus returning from Buda. A must try if you are in the area.

This is tucked away but not too difficult to find. It was a wonderful example of Hungarian food with enormous serves, great wine and terrific staff. The food was unexpectedly light and not stodgy as we had expected. After encouragement we tried the Palincka.. woo.Tip, they don't take cards, but accepted Euro for us.

The reviews on Tripadvisor were true: this restaurant is TOP! The service was very warm and friendly and the food was superb. The duck was probably the best I ever had. An excellent start to our two day visit to Budapest.

We had a excellent dinner in a well appointed restaurant served my the owner. He was attentive and was extremely well supported by the chef in the kitchen. While everything was tasty, a real treat was the mushroom appetiizer. The portions are genourous. Definatley will make hte list for a return visit.
