The best place if you are looking for personalized folk art objects for yourself or your beloved. They also have a wonderful contemporary graphic designer artist on board. Each of her pictures reflects the best ever sense of humour. If you are looking for something very Hungarian and at the same time, something you feel deeply related to, you will definitely find it here. I always do.

Bonita tienda, con artesanía pintada a mano. Los huevos, cajitas, percheros y acuarelas son un trabajo precioso y hecho con esmero, merece la pena una visita esta tienda que está atendida por la agradable artesana donde se puede comprar un bonito recuerdo a un precio razonable.

My favourite shop in Budapest. Beautifully hand painted wooden furniture and assorted products. Highly recommended. Original, charming and authentic Hungarian folk art. And you don’t need a large suitcase to buy something special!

The store is a bit tricky to find but be on the lookout for the 12x12 inch sign that hangs above the window. Once inside it's a hidden gem filled with hand carved hand painted items. Everything from eggs to furniture.

This is a little gem of a shop. It seems to be a family run business. Mostly the crafts are wood painted with Hungarian motifs. Prices are reasonable. There are some older pottery and art work. Lovely painted eggs and boxes.
